To all who may be interested,
I am an upstate NY Artist and Builder. My artwork has evolved over the years in both pen-and-ink drawings and printmaking. My bread and butter comes from building and renovating spaces and making custom furniture for both NYC and upstate clients.
In the recent past I began combining my Art with my Work. My respect for the diversity in linear shapes as produced in such complexity that NYC has to offer lends itself to the intricacy of the one-line-drawings I have been developing. My skill with the pen and my eye as a builder combine to create unique drawings from both abstract and real subject matter.
It is my intention to bring these customized drawings to clients interested in retaining special images in their lives in a medium that is something different than the more traditional photograph. I offer something special, a one-of-a-kind piece. I mat and frame all my pieces, and offer frames in many wood species and finishes.
Clients wishing to commission works can expect a timetable of 2 weeks from deposit to delivery. A photographer will work with the clients on site to pick an image to work with. Choice of mat color and frame to coordinate with an existing collection, will either be made by client or trusted to me. Drawings range between 9x12” to 12x16”, frame size usually 12x15” to 18x24”. Larger pieces available with longer lead time and increased pricing. Generally, the pricing for my drawn, matted, framed and delivered pieces is right around $1000. Terms are $75% of agreed upon price as deposit, 25% upon delivery.
